Week Start Day |
Throughout the Scheduling System, dates are displayed in a number of ways, from the week’s schedule on a Planner to the two-month “week picker” calendars for reports. By default, the system starts the workweek on Monday. If you wish, you can change this, using the Week Start configuration screen, shown below. While the two settings can be set differently, it may be less confusing to have them the same. With the Lock Together box checked, changing one changes the other automatically. There are two separate settings, which control different aspects of how weeks are displayed. Note that these settings do not alter your data in any way; they simply allow you to view and account for week boundaries in different ways.

This setting determines which day the system uses as the week boundary. This affects how Planners and printouts display, as well as how their totals are derived. For example, if your week starts on Monday, the previous Sunday’s hours will not be included, but the following Sunday’s will.

Standard calendars tend to put Sunday as the first day of the week, even if the workweek starts on Monday. The system allows you to set the way month calendars are displayed and printed independently of the Scheduling Week Start day.
