|
|
If a Shift was Assigned accidentally to the wrong person, you may elect to unassign the Shift, rather than canceling it. This way, there are no “leftover” Shifts that don’t need to be there. To Unassign a Shift, you can simply choose Unassign from the Shift menu. Unassigning several Assigned Shifts as as simple as selecting them all and choosing Unassign from the menu. You may also Unassign a shift from the Shift form itself (in the File menu). This can be helpful if you need to unassign several Shifts: you can open the Shift List from the Planner and Unassign them one after the other. You can even use the keyboard by itself for this operation: the Down arrow selects the next one in the list, alt-F, U unassigns it. To unassign all Shifts from a given date into the future, you can use the Unassign all shifts from... option in the Assignment menu. When you unassign or cancel a Shift that has a comment entered, you have the option to retain that comment in the resulting Open Shift. In that case, Rosemark will prompt you as to whether you want to keep the comment or not.
