Scheduling System Updates |

Shoshana Technologies is constantly improving the Scheduling System and adding new features. Consequently, new releases are frequently available on our website. Just go to http://www.shoshana.com/downloads.htm, click on Update Scheduling System client, and follow the prompts to run the installation. If you already have Rosemark open, the simplest way to make sure that you have the most recent version of Rosemark is to click on the Help menu, then click on Get Update. You do not have to get multiple updates to "catch up". Just getting the latest always brings you fully up-to-date. Required Updates Occasionally, changes to the Scheduling System application require parallel changes to the database structure (known as the “database schema”). When this occurs, your data will be automatically up-to-date with the new schema, and the newest version of the application will be required. If you attempt to login to a database that is incompatible with the version of the Scheduling System application that you currently have, the following window will pop up:
Figure 2: Attempting to login with an out-of-date Scheduling System If this happens, don’t worry! Simply click on the Download button and the update will be installed. Just follow the prompts, and you will be back up with the latest and greatest, typically in less than a minute. If you have any trouble with this update, you can take another course. Just close everything down, then open a browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.) and go to our webpage (www.shoshana.com). On the left, click on the Downloads link, then click on Install Scheduling System client and follow the prompts. |
