|
Referral Sources (Referrers) are persons or organizations who refer Clients to you for care. Referral sources might include existing Clients, healthcare providers (hospitals, doctors, etc.), case managers, senior care professionals, clergy, attorneys, etc. This can be a very important source of new Clients, so Rosemark provides tools for you to manage these relationships. There are two main ways to approach Referrers: from the Referrer's menu and from a Client's Inquiry tab. Here are links to parts of the User's Guide that address different aspects of working with Referrers: Setting the Referrer for a Client Referrals from Organizations and Companies Adding individual Persons to a Company Categorizing Referrers (Referrer Types)

You can add Referrers whether they have referred anyone to you yet or not. You can put in the essential information about them and begin tracking contacts (using the Pending and Completed Actions) right away. When they actually refer their first Client, you can just add them as a Referral Source on that Client. You can add Referral Sources to Rosemark in a number of ways. The best way is going to depend on the particular situation: whether they have already referred a client or not, whether you already have them in the system, whether they are a Company or a Person, etc. Here are some guidelines: 1) Directly on a Client. You can add the Referrer right from the Client's Inquiry tab. There you have the option of adding a new Referrer or selecting someone who is already in Rosemark. 2) From the Referrer menu. Just click on the Add New Company or Add New Person menu options. 3) From the Referrer list. Just click on the Add New Company or Add New Person buttons. 4) By adding the Referrer role to an existing person. You can also make any Person a Referral Source by adding the Role of Referrer from their Person form. |
