This is a section designed to quickly outline common tasks that you'll do in Rosemark. This does not attempt to address all of the issues that might arise, just give you the basics in a quick way. In all cases, much more detail can be found by going to the corresponding section elsewhere in the User's Guide. Click on the links to learn more about that item.

 

Add a New Client

From the Rosemark screen, click on Clients menu.
Choose Add New
In the Info tab, fill in First Name, Last Name, etc.
Click Apply

Set up a Client's schedule

On the Client's form, Summary tab, click the Add button to add a Service.
Note: if there is already a Service listed, just click on the Times button directly on the Client's Summary tab. Otherwise, click on the Times button in the Service form.
In the Times For Service form, click the Add button and select the date you want the Service to become Active
In the big, white Times box, enter the times and days that the Client needs service each week (e.g. MWF 9-3; TTh 130-5) and click the Apply button
Click on Plan to see the schedule

Assign a Shift

On the Planner, click on Add Caregivers
Double-click on the name of the Caregiver you want to assign.
Right-click on the half-sized red block (potential shift) that is under the Client's Open Shift and across from the Caregiver you want to assign. This will bring up the Shift menu.
Select Assign Shift Confirmed

Discontinue a Client

On the Client's form, Summary tab, click the Times button
On the Times for Service form, click on the top entry in the list
Down in the Status field, click on the down-arrow and change the status to Discontinued

Add a New Caregiver

From the Rosemark screen, click on Caregivers menu.
Choose Add New
In the Info tab, fill in First Name, Last Name, etc.
Click Apply

Change a Caregiver's Availability

From the Caregiver's form, Summary tab, click the Availability & Status button
In the Availability for Caregiver form, click Add a Copy
Choose the date that you want the Caregiver's status to change
If the status will be Active, enter the times of availability (e.g. M-F or 8-3 MWF)
If the status will not be Active, select the appropriate status from the drop-down list and apply

Add a Note (aka Completed Action)

From any Person's form, click on the brown Add button at the bottom right of their Summary tab.
Adjust the Date, Time and Type as appropriate.

Add a To Do (aka Pending Action)

From any Person's form, click on the yellow Add button at the bottom right of their Summary tab.
Adjust the Date, Time and Type as appropriate.
