Open Shifts Report

Previous   Top Next

The Open Shifts report is a special report that lets you zero in on the Shifts that have yet to be filled for a given period of time. Like the Service Planner reports, it gives a view of the Shifts for each Service, but it only displays the Shifts that are still Open. To print the Open Shifts Report, go to the main Scheduling System window, click on the Reports button and select Open Shifts…. You will be greeted with the following week selection window. This works the same as other Planner Reports, allowing you to specify the range of dates and number of blank rows included.

When it first opens, the Open Hours and Services fields may be blank. This is because the Scheduling System is going through and calculating the information. You can either wait to see what the numbers are here, or you can go ahead and click the Print or Preview in Word buttons right away. To see a sample of this report, go to Open Shifts Report.

A very handy option on this screen is the Shifts button. This will open a list of all the Shifts included on the report that you have setup. This is helpful for tending to these Open Shifts, as you can get right to the corresponding Planner to Assign the Shifts from this list.
