Introduction

This document provides an initial look at how Shoshana’s Rosemark Scheduling System works. The Scheduling System is designed to simplify all of the time management tasks that are involved in the daily life of anyone who must schedule, staff and otherwise manage the most important of resources: people.

One of the first things you’ll notice when you use the Scheduling System is the color. Color is used not just to make things look nice. The color of each form and button is significant, which makes it easy to recognize the different elements of the Scheduling System. Once your eye is used to the significance of each color and pattern, you’ll know at a glance that the report in front of you is for a Client rather than a Caregiver, and even the most complex schedule makes sense right away, even from across the room!

The initial installation of the Scheduling System typically takes only about 10 minutes, and a demo database is in place so you can begin to explore and use it immediately. In fact, even after you are fully established with your own working database, you may find it helpful to log in to the Demo database sometimes, for exploration or training.
