Establish the Link Once you've decided to improve your agency with the combined power of the Rosemark and Home Care Pulse systems, all you need to do is establish the initial connection between the two systems. This is a pretty straight forward and easy to follow process. Starting on the main Rosemark window, click on the File menu, go to Configuration, and select Home Care Pulse. This will bring up the Home Care Pulse Configuration window.

Caregivers To make sure a caregiver is added, all you need to do is make sure that all the necessary information is entered for the caregiver. Necessary information for Caregivers:
To do this, first go to the Caregivers menu and select Caregiver List - Active. Keep in mind, a Caregiver must have a status of "active" in the Rosemark system to be added to the Home Care Pulse System. Once you've selected the Caregiver you want to check, go to the Info tab and make sure that there is a first name, last name and telephone number. Then go to the Hire tab and make sure that there is a valid date of hire entered. If all this information is in order, the caregiver will automatically be added to the Home Care Pulse system. *Note: If the status of the Caregiver ever changes to Inactive, Quit or Discharged, the Caregiver will automatically be removed from the interview process in the Home Care Pulse system.

The Responsible Party is the person who understands what is going on with the Client's care; this is the person who will be called by Home Care Pulse interviewers. Necessary information for Clients:
Note: If the status of the Client ever changes to Inactive or Discontinued, the status of the Client will automatically be removed from the regular interview process in Home Care Pulse, setting them up for an exit interview. To check these things, go to the Clients menu and select the Active clients list. Once you've selected the client you want to check, click on their Emergency tab. If there has already been a Responsible Party established, there will be a name in the Responsible Party field. Click on that name to open a window with all the individual's information. Make sure that they have a name and phone number.

Once you find them, double-click on their name and make sure that they have a phone number entered. If they are not yet in the system, just press enter (or click Add New Person). This will open a window in which you can enter their phone number and whatever other information you would like. Just make sure that they at least have a phone number entered.

To do this, go to the Reports menu, go to Home Care Pulse, and click on the month for which you'd like to see a report. This will open an internet browser window containing the agency report. Now you have all sorts of information at your fingertips that you can use to grow and improve your business!
