You can make changes to the Invoice once it has been created. When you have changed the parts you want to change, you need to click on Apply for the changes to take effect. If you change your mind or want to start over, just click on the Revert button.

Start Date and Through Date

You can change the Through Date on individual Invoices. Be careful, as it could lead to some confusion if Invoices are ending on different dates. Most agencies choose to keep a consistent Start Date and Through Date for their Invoices (every two weeks, for example).

 

You'll notice that you cannot change the Start Date of the Invoice. However, you can cause the Start Date of the very first invoice to change (given its still open, which means its the only invoice) by adjusting the Invoicing Start Date on the Payment Obligation.

 

Likewise, you cannot change the Through Date if there is a later Invoice for that Payment Obligation. This is because Invoices for a Payment Obligation cannot overlap each other in time.

Invoice #

Invoice numbers are automatically generated in sequence. However, you can change the number on an Invoice if you wish. Note that there is no prohibition against duplicate numbers, though it is not recommended.

Included Shifts

You may decide to change which Shifts are included (Verified Complete, Assigned, Open).

Due Date and Date

Both the Due Date and the Invoice Date can be changed to any date you like.

Bill To: and Client:

These address fields can be changed to whatever you would like. Note that these changes will not go back into the corresponding Customer or Client. It is usually used to put special delivery or other notes right in the address portions of the Invoice without altering the actual Customer or Client address on file.

Caregiver Last Names

For the privacy of your caregivers, you have the option to not display caregivers' last names on your invoices. To exclude caregiver last names on your invoices, just give us a call to let us know you would like to activate this option and we'll adjust your account settings for you.
