Client Status

Previous   Top Next

Clients can have a Status of Inquiry, Active, Inactive and Discontinued. Their Status determines whether they are included in lists, giving you an overall way to group Clients and prioritize your attention to their scheduling needs.

Tip: To change the Status of a Client, you must change the Status of the Client's Service.

A Clients overall Status is determined by the Status (as of today) of any Service(s) the Client has. If a Client has only one Service, the status of the Client is the same as the Status of that Service. However, if the Client has more than one, the Scheduling System determines the Clients Status based on the Service with the “highest” status. For example, if a Client has two Services, one Active and one Inactive, the Client will be considered to be Active. If one is Inactive and the other Discontinued, the Client will be considered to be Inactive. If a Client has no Services, or only Services with a Status of Inquiry (including those with no times at all), the Client is considered to have a Status of Inquiry.

See the section entitled Service Status for a discussion of how the Status of an individual Service is determined.
