A picture is worth a thousand words, so it's handy to have a picture of your caregivers available at all times. You can upload a picture of each of your Caregivers and view it directly on their main profile page. Quick instructions
Uploading a picture To upload a picture, just click on the silhouette placeholder on the top-right corner of the Caregivers main page.
Figure 49: Caregiver form before uploading a picture This will bring up a dialog box to let you browse for a photo. Here you can browse local disk drives for the image file you want to upload. Rosemark supports all common image file formats, including .jpg, .png, .bmp, etc.
Figure 50: Selecting a picture to upload Once you have selected the file, a preview of it will show in the box below, with a dotted box that shows the area that will be displayed in the thumbnail on the Caregiver's page. You can move the box around by clicking and dragging anywhere within the box. You can crop and resize the thumbnail by clicking and dragging the little double-arrow that comes up when you put the mouse pointer over the edge of the box. You also have the options of changing the name of the file and add a description. These will show up in the uploaded file management lists.
Figure 51: Cropping and zooming the picture before uploading Replacing and Working with the picture To zoom in and see the thumbnail bigger, just click on it. To view the original (non-cropped, full resolution), The original will pop right up so you can get a better look. To do other things with the picture, right-click on the picture to bring up the picture menu and select the action you want to take. To view the original picture that you uploaded, click View Full-Size. To download it (save it locally), choose Download Full-Size. Choosing Delete will delete the thumbnail and you'll be left with the general silhouette placeholder. Note that this will not delete the full-resolution picture. To delete that, use the file List button to bring up the full list of files attached to this Caregiver.

This means you can see them no matter where you are logged in: at home, in the office, on the road, etc. The caregiver photos are treated slightly differently in that 1) you don't have to have Document Storage enabled in order to use it (it's free for all) and 2) uploading a picture ends up creating two pictures (the original and the thumbnail version). You can see the files in the regular document storage file manager, both for caregivers and in the overall file list. To see more about File and Document storage in general, go to the Document Storage section.
